West Ham bigger than Chelsea

West Ham United could emerge as a bigger club than Chelsea if Kia Joorabchian's takeover push is successful.

While Joorabchian is yet to appoint lawyers or merchant bankers, the Telegraph says that he has a rich Middle Eastern investor - who, according to super agent Pini Zahavi, would "add a nought" to the riches of Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea.
West Ham are attractive because of London 2012. In six years the Olympic Games will transform the East End. There will be an Olympic Park, a shopping centre, new housing and a stadium seating 80,000 available to football after August 2012.
West Ham have always been valued the same as Aston Villa, which went to Randy Lerner for £63 million. The London club will come at a reasonable price, with the buyers likely to exploit the 2012 Olympics. This will drive any possible takeover.
