Eriksson in line for Hammers

Former England boss Sven Goran Eriksson is being linked with Alan Pardew's job at West Ham United.
Eriksson is great pals with super-agent Pini Zahavi, who helped take striker Carlos Tevez and midfield star Javier Mascherano to London's East End.

The Sun says West Ham are currently embroiled in the early stages of takeover talks but Pards has warned any possible new owners not to meddle in team affairs.
It was Zahavi who accompanied Eriksson to Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich's London office in 2003.
And the Hammers could even land the Swede on a cut-price deal, thanks to the leaving contract agreed with the FA.
If Eriksson lands a job that falls short of the £5million- a-year salary he enjoyed while boss of England, the FA must make up the difference.
The current Upton Park board have been knocked out by how Pardew has managed to turn the club around while keeping them solvent.
And Pardew is aware that, while he keeps producing teams to deliver results, he will be fine.
But the takeover consortium, fronted by Iran-born businessman Kia Joorabchian, will have their own ideas on how they want the club managed - and who will do the job.
