My wife is not pregnant...Beckham

Video Safari

David Beckham caused a flurry of excitement in his adopted homeland this week after telling journalists he was to become a father for the fourth time.

The Real Madrid star has now poured cold water on the reports, though, by explaining he simply misunderstood when asked questions about his family in Spanish.
"Is it true that you're going to be a father?" asked one of the press pack, to which David responded "si", meaning yes.
The 31-year-old answered "very well" when asked how he was feeling about the news, and when queried over how his wife Victoria was doing, he said "good, thanks".
A spokesman for the former England skipper has since explained that he didn't clearly understand the questions, however.
"They asked him a question which is his mind went something along the lines of 'How are Victoria and the baby?' by which he took to mean their youngest child," revealed a representative.
"It was a complete misunderstanding - she is not pregnant."
David was again queried about the issue when he picked up his sons from school on Tuesday, but on that occasion he seemed rather clearer.
"Victoria is not pregnant," he said. "It is a mistake."
