Mac still thinking of Theo

England boss Steve McClaren has assured Theo Walcott that he has a future at international level.
Walcott was the surprise inclusion in England's World Cup squad, as he was given the nod by former boss Sven Goran Eriksson even though he had never featured in The Premiership for Arsenal.
A number of senior figures questioned the inclusion of Walcott and it would appear McClaren feels he is not yet ready for the biggest stage as the former Southampton starlet did not feature in the squad for next week's friendly with Greece.
McClaren is not prepared to discard Walcott, but is eager for him to learn his trade at Under-21 level.
"Theo Walcott is a very good player, he has a bright future and a future playing for England," McClaren told Radio Five Live's Sportsweek programme.
"But what he needs now is that experience he needs to play regularly at this level.
"We will give him that
opportunity at Under-21 level and hopefully he will break through and we will see him at senior level again."
