Fiore: Impossible for ex-Lazio players to join Roma

Valencia midfielder Stefano Fiore has revealed it's still nigh on impossible for former Lazio players to join Roma.

Fiore confirmed he held talks with Roma coach Luciano Spalletti this summer, but admitted: "The fact that I have played for many years with Lazio has been the greatest obstacle in the negotiations.
"Luciano (Spalletti) said to me that they had made an attempt also for Fabio Liverani, but also in that case nothing happened for the same reason as me.
"Evidently, it is somewhat impossible for a former Lazio player to play for Roma."
