Woodgate returns to Real Madrid after Leeds spell

Jonathan Woodgate is returning to Real Madrid after a spell at former club Leeds United.
The former United defender has been working with physio Dave Hancock as he attempts to shake off the injury problems that have blighted his Real Madrid career.
"My rehab's gone well and I'm very grateful to Leeds for helping me get fit," he told the club's official website.
"The facilities here are second to none. The training's been hard - it's probably one of the hardest pre-seasons I've ever had - but hopefully I can go back to Madrid and start flying again."
