Pires: Villarreal no retirement fund

Robert Pires has assured Villarreal fans he hasn't come to Spain to retire.
"What I want to make clear to people is that if I have come here it is not to finish my career calmly," said the former Arsenal midfielder, "but because I have the ambition to do great things.
"Before signing I spoke a lot with the president and the trainer and now, after speaking with my teammates, I am even more convinced that I guessed right coming to Villarreal."
