Middlesbrough ahead of Newcastle for Gravesen

Middlesbrough are leading the race for Real Madrid midfielder Thomas Gravesen.
The Evening Chronicle says Boro have already had preliminary talks with Real about the 30-year-old Danish international.
Gravesen has already rejected a switch to Celtic and he has made it clear that he does not want to rejoin David Moyes at Everton.
Despite Boro's interest, Gravesen is said to be waiting for Newcastle United to come in for him.
