AC Milan to launch £70M bid for Ronaldinho

AC Milan are being linked with a sensational £70 million bid for Barcelona star Ronaldinho.

Both Tuttosport and Corriere dello Sport reports today that if Milan are forced to sell Kaka to Real Madrid, they will replace the inside-forward with Ronaldinho.
Milan directors intend to put the cash raised from Kaka's proposed sale, plus the money from Andriy Shevchenko's move to Chelsea, towards a mega bid for the World Player of the Year.
However, Barcelona sources are already insisting the move is a non-starter - particularly with president Joan Laporta facing upcoming elections.
