Calderon set for Real post

Ramon Calderon looks likely to be named Real Madrid's new president, although rival candidate Juan Miguel Villar Mir is ready to dispute his appointment.
On polling day in the Spanish capital, thousands of Real members cast their votes to find the replacement for Florentino Perez.
There were five candidates in the running, with Calderon and Villar Mir (pictured) joined in battle by Juan Palacios, Lorenzo Sanz and Arturo Baldasano.
Upon the conclusion of counting, Calderon emerged the winner from Palacios by a narrow margin.
Villar Mir, who was previously thought of as the favourite for the presidency, took third, with Sanz fourth and Baldasano bringing up the rear.
However, Villar Mir has threatened to delay Calderon's accession to the helm, as he wants the mailing vote to be counted first.
Some 8,000 votes will be received via the post and Villar Mir is refusing to concede defeat in the presidential race until they have been counted.
If Calderon does secure the Real presidency, he has promised to appoint Juventus boss Fabio Capello as the club's new coach.
Calderon has also vowed to sign Chelsea winger Arjen Robben and Milan's Brazilian playmaker Kaka - a declaration which has angered the Italian giants.
