Michael Jordan want to meet Ronaldinho
Basketball great Michael Jordan is keen to meet his successor at Nike, Barcelona superstar Ronaldinho.
The Brazilian ace is being positioned by Nike for a global campaign in 2007 in a similar way to how they promoted Jordan in the 1980s and '90s.
Jordan is in Spain and is understood to have attended last night's match at Real Madrid.
"In this European tour I am going to see some soccer and hope to see him play," said Jordan. "Possibly I'll see the Madrid-Barca game today.
"I have read that he is the Michael Jordan of soccer and that talk has one meaning in this sport: that he plays with passion, is creative and the public want to be like him. I have a desire to get to know him."
