Ferdinand dedicate goal to Lorenz
Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand dedicated his stunning goal against Liverpool to his newborn son, Lorenz.
The England defender, 27, smashed an unstoppable shot into the roof of the net after brilliant control at the back post.
He then ran to the corner of the stadium where his fiancee Rebecca Ellison was sitting with three-month-old son, Lorenz.
Ferdinand said: "That goal was for my son Lorenz. It's his first time at Old Trafford and maybe he's a good luck charm.
"Maybe he can come every week and I will get my name on the scoresheet a bit more often."
The goal was only Ferdinand's fourth for United in over FOUR YEARS though he did score a dramatic winner against Liverpool last season.
He has scored eight League goals in his career - with three of them coming against Liverpool.
Ferdinand also scored for Leeds at Anfield in April 2001.
