Zambrotta insist he did not betray Juve

New Barcelona fullback Gianluca Zambrotta says he left Juventus because of the behaviour of the old board.

The Italy international said: "The tifosi say that I have betrayed them, but indeed it is the contrary because I have felt myself betrayed and disappointed by the old Bianconera leadership.
"A player enters the field thinking to play clean, but because of what has happened the club has dropped into Serie B and lost two Scudetti.
"I respect the choices of Buffon and Del Piero, but for all the chaos that has been in the past months, I decided to leave."
