World champ Lippi not looking for big club job

Italy's World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi has enjoyed putting his feet up this summer.
The 58-year-old legend is certainly in demand after leading the Azzurri to glory but he will not rush back into the game.

"To sum it up, it is not a bad feeling," he said. "For the first time in 40 years, I am still on holiday on August 10.
"I have already received some big offers, but I think I will be a spectator for four or five more months, and then I will return."
Lippi has been linked with a role at
Manchester United and his name is bound to be mentioned with any vacancy in Italy and beyond.
But Lippi admitted his next job may come as a surprise.
"It doesn't particularly have to be one of the biggest clubs in European football," he added. "I am looking for a serious project and, if possible, a few friendly faces."
A move away from Italy may be tempting, particularly in view of the match-fixing scandal which has cast its shadow over the domestic
game this summer.
However, Lippi feels winning the World Cup will have diminished the importance of the scandal and the appeal of Serie A, even without fallen giants Juventus, still holds.
"If a piece of mould appears on a lump of cheese, you just cut it off, it's not right to throw the whole piece away," he said.
"We wanted to show the world that the Italy national team represented a pure football, we wanted to prove our football had values."
