West Ham set to land Norwich No1 Green

West Ham have hijacked Charlton's attempts to sign England goalkeeper Robert Green after agreeing a £2 million deal with Norwich.

The deal is still subject to a medical and the player agreeing personal terms.
And the fee looks like being ultimately decided by the number of appearances the 26-year-old makes for the Hammers.
Green is currently recovering from a groin injury sustained while playing for England B against Belarus in May - an injury which ruled him out of the World Cup finals in the summer.
A statement released by West Ham read: "We can confirm that we have had a bid accepted by Norwich for England goalkeeper Robert Green.
"The deal, which could eventually rise to £2 million, is still subject to a medical and the player agreeing personal terms."
