Roma deadline for Pizarro deal

Roma executive director Rosella Sensi has given herself 72 hours to strike a deal for Inter Milan midfielder David Pizarro.
The Chile international is Roma coach Luciano Spalletti's No1 transfer target, but Inter's £10 million asking price is too rich for the capital club. Sensi hopes to talk Inter patron Massimo Moratti down to nearer £7 million.
If terms can't be agreed by Wednesday evening, Roma director general Daniele Prade will jump on a plane for France to close the £3.5 million signing of Lens midfielder Alou Diarra.
