Olympique Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas has told interested clubs that it will take £24 million to land Mahamadou Diarra.

Real Madrid are pursuing the Mali international, however there's been fresh interest received from Manchester United in the last 48 hours.
"The price of Diarra will not be inferior to the one for Michael Essien," said Aulas. "At the moment there has been no official offer from Real Madrid for Diarra. In order to sell, it is necessary that somebody wants to buy."
Real sports director Predrag Mijatovic will table their opening bid today. He is expected to meet with Lyon officials before Thursday to open formal negotiations.
Diarra has already agreed personal terms with Real after talks last week between his agent, Frederic Guerra, and director Franco Baldini.
