O'Neill ready to agree Aston Villa deal

Martin O'Neill is set to be named Aston Villa manager.

The Sun says he needs to iron out a personal matter today before he can commit himself and then fly out to Germany for tomorrow's friendly against Hanover.
O'Neill, 54, has agreed a 12-month rolling contract to replace the sacked David O'Leary.
The former Celtic and Leicester boss has been out of the game for a year supporting his wife Geraldine's battle against cancer.
He had chances to go to Newcastle and Middlesbrough and was also short-listed for the England job.
But now he has opted to try and wake up the sleeping Midlands giant - whoever owns the club.
