Tottenham defender Lee Young-pyo could be set for a move to Roma, according to the player's agent.
Roma have held a long-term interest in Lee and tried to sign him last January.
The Giallorossi are in the market for a new defender and are hoping to lure Lee to the Italian capital.
Lee, who played at left back last season, has been moved to right back this term following the arrival of Benoit Assou-Ekotto.
Spurs could be willing to do a swap deal with Roma as they are reported to be back on the trail of Egyptian striker Mido.
Lee's South Korean agent Chin Sung-Won has said that a deal is close to being completed.
"Tottenham and AS Roma have agreed in principle to the transfer of Young-pyo Lee," Sung-Won told the Yonhap news agency.
"We are in talks with AS Roma on detailed contract terms.
"You can consider the deal as almost sealed, as the only remaining procedure is the player's decision."
Should Lee move on it could see Spurs make a renewed
bid to sign long-term target Pascal Chimbonda.
