Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho wants William Gallas to explain to fans why he won't play for the club.
The Blues manager is furious Gallas is prepared to go on strike rather than play for his side again.
And he reckons the French defender - who has not featured for Chelsea at all this season - should get his reasons out in the open.
Mourinho said: "The best thing to do is ask him.
"There are a lot of answers but answers he should be the one to tell.
"It is not that I don't want to tell but I shouldn't be the one to say things that he should.
"This situation deserves a Press conference."
Gallas has been linked with Arsenal as part of a player-plus-cash deal for Ashley Cole or a straight £5million transfer.
