Torino are preparing an approach for Everton winger Andy van der Meyde.
The Dutchman declared last month he was prepared to stay and establish himself at Goodison Park after a difficult first season in the Premiership.
However, Torino president Urbano Cairo wants to meet with Van der Meyde about a return to Italy. Cairo is confident a healthy contract and first team guarantees will convince the Dutchman to move to Turin.
