Saviola prefers Arsenal over bigger Panathinaikos offer

Barcelona striker Javier Saviola wants a move to Arsenal.
Greek giants Panathinaikos have tabled a bigger contract offer than the Gunners, but Saviola wants to move to London.
Sources close to the player have confirmed to AS Saviola has set his sights on joining Arsenal after the Premiership giants contacted his agent, Alfredo Cabrera, last month.
Cabrera will meet with Barca sports director Txiki Begiristain this week and attempt to negotiate a contract release for Saviola. Begiristain is prepared to hand the Argentina international a free transfer, if he's prepared to pay ?2.7 million to cover the final year of his wages.
