Scolari: France are favourites

Luiz Felipe Scolari reckons France are favourites to win the World Cup semi-final with Portugal.
The Brazilian coach, who masterminded another penalties defeat of England in the previous round, is convinced that his Portuguese team can go all the way in the competition.
After the disappointment of losing the Euro 2004 final to Greece, Scolari wants his side to aim for the stars and win the greatest prize in football for the first time in the country's history.
"If you look at the history books then France must be favourites to win when you consider all they have achieved," he explained.
"But Portugal have also done some good things.
"We will be positive and try and change the history of this fixture.
"The favourites don't always win.
"My first job has been to try and help the players see where the limits are. Then I must help them to get near the limits and then to reach the limits.
"Once they manage to surpass the limits, then they realise there are no limits to what they can achieve."
Scolari is fully aware of the threat that France will pose in Munich.
"They are a team of quality," he stressed. "They are very fast and have a very good spirit in their team but we do as well."
