Roma coach wants Juventus duo Trezeguet, Zambrotta

Roma coach Luciano Spalletti was locked in talks with his board over the weekend discussing the likely demotion of Juventus to Serie B.

Spalletti wants Roma president Franco Sensi to do all he can to bring Juve pair David Trezeguet and Gianluca Zambrotta to the capital.
Roma's pursuit of a new striker, which has included Vincenzo Iaquinta (Udinese), Mirko Vucinic (Lecce) and Andrea Carraciolo (Palermo) has cooled in recent weeks as Spalletti waits for the findings of the Calciopoli investigation.
He would love to bring Trezeguet to the capital - and also Zambrotta - this despite the arrival of wing-backs Max Tonetto and Massimo Cassetti already this summer transfer market.
