Three Premiership clubs are chasing Barcelona striker Javier Saviola.

The Argentine is doing his preseason with Barca, but won't start the season at the Nou Camp. While he has interest from Primera Liga rivals Sevilla and Atletico Madrid, Saviola is likely to be moved onto England.

Barca sports chief Txiki Begiristain insists on getting top dollar for Saviola and knows that is likely to come from selling the striker to a Premiership club.

So far, Arsenal, Tottenham and Bolton Wanderers have all been in contact with Begiristain to register their interest in Saviola.

Saviola's agent, Alfredo Cabrera, wants to negotiate a free transfer for the player, but Begiristain won't consider that as an option.
