Klinsmann proud of players

Jurgen Klinsmann hailed the character of his emerging team after Germany suffered World Cup heartbreak against Italy.
Goals in the final two minutes of extra time from Fabio Grosso and Alessandro Del Piero took the Azzurri into Sunday's final.
Germany had contributed to an absorbing game in Dortmund, but were unable to make the breakthrough in 120 minutes of end-to-end action.
Klinsmann was naturally upset that the hosts failed to reach the showpiece in Berlin, but was proud of his players' efforts.
With many pundits writing Germany off before the tournament, Klinsmann could not hide his delight at his young charges.
"We are hugely disappointed, (but) you can only compliment the team, they're a young team," said Klinsmann.
"It's amazing the spirit they showed, the character. They made a whole country really proud.
"It's something very special to play a World Cup in your home country.
"We've a lot of young players with a lot of quality."
