Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy has agreed a three-year deal with Real Madrid.

United boss Alex Ferguson admitted: "He has asked away. There might be some interest from Real Madrid and Bayern Munich."
The Spaniards have offered £11million but United are insisting on £16m even though he was banished from Old Trafford by Ferguson at the end of last season.
Despite Bayern's interest, Real are in pole position after agreeing to meet the Dutch striker's £80,000-a-week wage demands.
His agent, Rodger Linse, admits he has been in talks with new Real president Ramon Calderon and insists Van Nistelrooy is desperate for United to let him go before pre-season training.
Linse said: "Ruud hopes to announce his new club before July 24 as that's the day that he would have to report back in Manchester.
"I'll only confirm stories when Manchester United have agreed terms with another club."
