Bolton chairman slams Hamann over Man City move

Bolton Wanderers chairman Phil Gartside has blasted new Manchester City signing Didi Hamann.
Hamann, 32, moved to Eastlands this week - despite signing a contract with Bolton when he quit Liverpool.

City will pay Bolton £400,000 in compensation but Gartside is still livid.
He said: "I feel insulted and I think Bolton fans deserve better.
"For someone like Hamann to have treated us the way he has, is absolutely disgraceful."
Gartside believes City wrecked the deal - but admitted neither he nor Bolton boss Sam Allardyce saw any point in forcing Hamann to stay.
Gartside said: "He must have been tapped up.
"There's something that's gone on. Dietmar and his agent went into Liverpool and said the only club he wanted to sign for was Bolton.
"You don't want someone who doesn't want to play for you.
"You don't want someone who's going to change their mind for the sake of money. You don't want people like that."
