Lippi closer to Ferguson replacement

Marcello Lippi continues to be linked with a move to Manchester United.

After announcing his departure from the Italy job this week, it's emerged Lippi is now taking intensive English language lessons.
Sources close to the ex-Juventus chief say he has decided to enrol on an English course at a top Milan language school. A pal told The Sun: "Lippi is 70 per cent sure he's coming to the English Premiership.
"If Manchester United offer him a deal, he'll take it. At the moment, he doesn't speak a word of English and is worried it might count against him.
"But he is arranging to go on an intensive English course to get a better grasp of the language.
"The Italian Football Federation hopes he might change his mind but Lippi won't come back. He wants club coaching."
