Valencia chief makes offer for Chelsea's Del Horno

Valencia sports chief Amadeo Carboni was in London yesterday for talks with Chelsea over left-back Asier del Horno.
Carboni has made a £4 million bid for the Spain international, which would include bonuses depending on appearances and success rising to £6 million.
Del Horno is reluctant to give up his bumper contract at Chelsea and the London giants may have to cough up a sizeable compo payoff to help Valencia sign the defender.
