Chelsea willing to offer £15M for Italy captain Cannavaro

Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has made new contact with Juventus for defender Fabio Cannavaro.
After receiving little encouragement from AC Milan over his interest in Alessandro Nesta, Abramovich has stepped up negotiations with Juve for Cannavaro.
Abramovich is willing to pay £15 million for the 32 year-old and hand the World Cup winning captain a multi-year contract worth £2.5 million-a-year, says La Stampa.
