Man Utd's Rooney in tears after sending off

Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney was in tears last Saturday after his sending off for England against Portugal, it has been revealed.
A close friend told the Sunday Mirror: "Wayne was in tears last Saturday. He was the only player who went to the wives and girlfriends' hotel so he could see Coleen.
"He was desperate to play in the World Cup and he is struggling to come to terms with the way things ended.
"People don't realise that when he was trying to recuperate from his foot injury he was going into the training ground every morning at 6.30am. But any work he has done has been tarnished by this.
"The only positive thing to come out of it is that like David Beckham, who had to endure a hate campaign following his dismissal in France 98, he will become a stronger player for the experience."
