Toni decision looms for Real Madrid, Inter Milan

The future of Fiorentina striker Luca Toni is expected to be decided this week.

Inter Milan's £12 million bid remains on the table for the Italy international, whose advisors have also received a four-year, £12 million contract offer.
However, Real Madrid made contact with Fiorentina last week, just 24 hours after Ramon Calderon's presidential victory. Calderon dispatched new Real chief Franco Baldini to Florence to discuss Toni's situation.
Another European giant in the frame is Bayern Munich, which are ready to match Inter's bid should they fail to convince Manchester United's Ruud van Nistelrooy about a move to Germany.
For their part, Fiorentina have told both Inter and Real that they won't consider doing business over Toni for less than £17 million.
