West Ham's Konchesky disappointed with England omission

West Ham United defender Paul Konchesky was disappointed not to have played any part in England's World Cup squad.
The 25-year-old believes his form with The Hammers was enough to earn a call-up for Sven Goran Eriksson's preliminary squad ahead of the finals in Germany.
"I thought I'd done enough at club level to be at least involved in the squad before they went out to the World Cup, but it wasn't to be," Konchesky told Sky Sports News.
"It hurts, but I've got on with it and hopefully, another chance will come for me."
