Lyon's Houllier: Diarra won't join Man Utd
Lyon boss Gerard Houllier is confident of keeping Manchester United target Mahamadou Diarra.
The Mali international has also been targeted by Real Madrid, but Houllier is confident he will remain at Lyon for at least another year.
"I don't think Diarra will be going to United," said Houllier, who is close to signing two other United targets, the Marseille winger Franck Ribéry and Lille's midfielder Jean Makoun.
"We hope Mahamadou will stay but, while there has been interest expressed in him, I don't see him going to the Premiership."
