Inter Milan prepare £12M bid for Juventus ace Emerson

Inter Milan have prepared an offer for Juventus midfielder Emerson.
Despite claims from Real Madrid presidential candidate Lorenzo Sanz yesterday that he has the commitment of the Brazil international, Inter are convinced they can keep him in Italy next season.
Emerson has declared he won't make a decision over his Juve future until July 9, but will quit the Turin giants should they be thrown out of Serie A.
Inter are ready to offer between £10-12 million for the midfielder and have put together a contract package worth £10 million over three years.
The one stumbling block could be Juve's reluctance to strengthen an Italian rival with a view to returning to Serie A for season 2007/08.
