West Ham wrapping up deal for Chelsea's Cole

West Ham United are set to close the £2 million signing of Chelsea striker Carlton Cole today.
Cole, 22, will be the second hitman to leave Stamford Bridge this month.
Eidur Gudjohnsen was sold to Barcelona for £8m just two weeks ago.
England Under-21 ace Cole was on the verge of joining north London rivals Tottenham - but talks broke down and Hammers boss Alan Pardew successfully hijacked the move.
