Henry deserves Ballon d'Or

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger was staggered by the decision to award the Ballon d'Or to Real Madrid defender Fabio Cannavaro - and not his Gunners captain Thierry Henry.
Henry has struggled to hit peak form this season playing as a lone striker for the Gunners.

But Wenger reckons Henry is still the best footballer on the planet by a long stretch and deserves recognition for his contribution to club and country.
Wenger blasted: "Congratulations to Canavarro but, for me, there's only one candidate this year and that's Thierry Henry.
"He just deserves it. He was the top goalscorer in England, the best player in England, the second-highest goalscorer in Europe behind Luca Toni.
"He played in the Champions League final and in the World Cup final. He lost one on penalties and lost the other in the last few minutes with 10 men.
"When you look at what this guy has achieved in his career, I can tell you there are some players in the Ballon d'Or who have a lot to answer for.
"It's unfortunate and it's not right that he does not have the recognition."
