Wenger confident of beating Chelsea

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger insists Chelsea can be knocked off this season.

Wenger said: "It is deeply satisfying to me to feel sure that Chelsea will not have a monopoly on success in England, despite all the money that they spend.
"Chelsea can be beaten in the Premiership this season and I'm deeply, totally convinced of that fact.
"Indeed, I'm certain the team to beat them will be us. Life is much more difficult for Mourinho because he is forced to cope with the pressure of having superstars in his team.
"By comparison I've had the massive pleasure of seeing young players like Ebou鬠Djourou, Flamini and Senderos blossom after developing them.
"It is because of factors like this that I was like a little kid at Christmas when this season started.
"For me, every single August feels like it is my first season all over again - a new adventure. I never, ever get sick of being in charge at Arsenal.
"Each year it's like stepping on to a cruise liner without knowing the destination, though that can have its downsides.
"For example, after three rounds of the Premiership this season I had to say to myself: 'The boat is taking me towards relegation to the Championship!'
"But now I'm convinced that we can fight for, and win, the Premiership title.
"I'm a competitor so my aim this season is to win both the Champions League and the Premiership."
