Rooney, Ronaldo inspire Solskjaer

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer says his comeback was inspired by Manchester United teammates Wayne Rooney and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Solskjaer, 33, took the final step in his rehabilitation as he managed a full 90 minutes for the first time in three years against Newcastle on Sunday.
He scored both goals in Manchester United's 2-0 win.
And the Norwegian then revealed he kept his spirits up during three years of injury misery by dreaming of being in the same United line-up as Rooney and Ronaldo.
He explained: "It really motivated me because I want to play with these lads.
"Even at my age, you're never too old to learn - and I definitely learn from those two players. It was pleasing to get the full 90 minutes. It's good to get that out of the way so you don't have to answer questions about it any more.
"And it felt great being out there, in the same team as Cristiano and Wayne.
"I spoke with Cristiano after the game and told him he is playing fantastic football at the moment. He went close a few times and didn't score but that's the way it goes. Sometimes you play really well and create chances but don't score and other times you get lucky and do."
Solskjaer enjoyed plenty of luck for his second goal.
He did not know much about it as Nemanja Vidic's shot took a deflection off his thigh to wrong-foot Newcastle keeper Steve Harper.
But no one would deny him that slice of fortune after the long hours of rehab following two career-saving knee ops. His goals were his first in the Premiership at Old Trafford since May 2003.
But he insisted he always believed he would soak up the acclaim of the fans again.
He added: "It was great to score again in the league. But I don't think of it as 3? wasted years - I just try to seize the moment. I was lucky enough to get a couple of scraps. For the second goal, I was just trying to get out of the way!
"But when they hit you like that, you just have to take them."
