Juventus shut down approach for Trezeguet
AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani has been shutdown by Juventus president Giovanni Cobolli Gigli over an enquiry for David Trezeguet.
The two men met last week to outline the clubs' relationship after Juve's boardroom clear-out and how they will act together in the transfer market, says Tuttosport.
During discussions, Galliani suggested a loan deal for Trezeguet in the event Juve appear odds on to win promotion from Serie B in January. Milan are desperate to find a goalscorer with Alberto Gilardino and Ricardo Oliveira both struggling to find the back of the net.
But Gigli was adamant, "No-one will leave Juve in January."
Indeed, Juve chief Alessio Secco confirmed the decision yesterday, declaring: "Why would we allow any of our players to leave after only just confirming that everyone is staying?"
