Arsenal striker Robin van Persie has blasted former teammate Ashley Cole for claims in his book that morale is low at the Emirates.
Cole claimed in his book that Arsene Wenger's kids are lazy, selfish and arrogant and lack heart and character.
Van Persie, 23, raged: "All that stuff questioning our spirit and commitment, I think it's a load of nonsense.
"Six months ago Arsenal reached the Champions League final and you definitely don't do that without spirit.
"Arsene Wenger said this week that this is possibly the best squad he's ever had."
