Chivu extend contract as Roman

Roma defender Cristian Chivu is ready to extend his contract, says agent Andrea Pretti.
"I see no problems in the renewal of Chivu's contract," said the defender's agent to a local television network.
"I saw Roma's sporting director Daniele Pradin August 31, but we didn't set a date for a further meeting," added Pretti.
"I will call him next week, so we can finally close the issue. Central defenders have a high value and they are not easy to find, but Cristian has clearly said that he wishes to stay with Roma.
"All the rumours suggesting he will move are bothering him a lot."
