Totti convince Cicinho to Roma

Roma captain Francesco Totti tried to convince Real Madrid fullback Cicinho to move to Italy last week, it has been revealed.
Cicinho, who was made available in the final days of the market by Real, is good friends with Roma's Brazilian goalkeeper Doni and spoke with Totti last week about a move to the capital.
Totti grabbed Cicinho's phone number from Doni and immediately discussed the prospect of moving to Roma with the Brazilian. Cicinho was keen, but Roma couldn't match Real's asking before the transfer deadline fell.
Roma wanted to take Cicinho on-loan, but Real refused to baulk from their £6 million assessment.
