Rijkaard praise Eto'o

Barcelona thumped Osasuna 3-0 at the Nou Camp last night.

Samuel Eto'o scored twice and made one for Lionel Messi as a first-half salvo from Barcelona finished off their visitors from Pamplona.
Osasuna coach Jose Angel Ziganda has now tasted defeat in his first two matches in charge against a Barca team that is hunting a third consecutive Primera Liga crown under coach Frank Rijkaard.
"We gave our opponents absolutely no hope," said Rijkaard afterwards. "I know people were expecting us to go on and score more, but I believe we showed a new level of maturity with the way we played in the second-half.
"Samuel Eto'o is a wonderful player. He has played very well and showed great generosity (to Messi) and talent."
Rijkaard added: "We played well as a unit, though sometimes the ball was played too long because there was too much distance between the defence and attack."
