Players unhappy with Pardew
West Ham United boss Alan Pardew is struggling to quell player unrest after two defeats in a week.
Several Hammers stars are unhappy they were ordered to stay in a hotel the night AFTER last Thursday's UEFA Cup defeat by Palermo.
Some believe it was implemented as a punishment for defeat against the Italians as boss Pards did not stay with them - he went home.
A source at the club told The Sun: "The overnight stay was organised in advance as part of the recovery process after a hard game.
"Alan did not want the players getting home late then in early for an hour's warm-down session.
"It made better sense for the players to get a good night's rest nearby.
"It was not punishment - more a professional approach to rest."
