Rijkaard praise honest Eto'o

Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard singled out Sammy Eto'o for special praise after yesterday's 3-0 win against Racing Santander.
"The form Eto'o is now showing is no surprise to me," said Rijkaard. "We already knew he was a player who makes the difference.
"But what I would like to emphasize is his generosity. Players like him or Ronaldinho prefer at times for their teammates to take the limelight instead of themselves. It seems easy, but to do that as a forward is very complicated.
"We are speaking of a person with a strong character. Very proud and honest. His behavior in the Spanish Supercopa? It was important to reason with him. I cannot say that he has learned from the experience, but he knows that comradeship is most important.
"He is behaving very well because the important players influence the rest of the dressing room."
Rijkaard added: "I took him off at the end because he was on a yellow card and was getting tackled very hard from behind. I didn't want him to react, so we subbed him."
