Davids cool down Zokora rift

Tottenham midfielder Edgar Davids has shrugged off reports of a row with team-mate Didier Zokora, claiming that the alleged incident has been blown out of proportion.

It has been suggested that Davids and Zokora scuffled following Tottenham's defeat to Everton last week but the former insists that there was nothing untoward about the incident.
"There is lots of smoke but no fire," he told the News of the World. "If you have an argument with your friend, is it a big matter? It happens all the time.
"Everywhere I go people know my name. That is the pressure and everybody expects results.
"Everybody knows what I have achieved in my career. I took a pay cut to join Spurs so you can't say I'm here just for the money."
