Toni plans Viola stay
Italian World Cup winner Luca Toni has decided to stay at Fiorentina.
The 30-year-old was considering his future at Fiorentina after attracting the interest from a host of clubs.
Internazionale and several English sides had been credited with an interested in last season's Serie A top scorer.
Fiorentina were determined to keep Toni at the Artemio Franchi and the striker revealed his team-mates persuaded him to stay.
"I want to play and score some goals," said Toni.
"Any player would have been tempted by the prospect of the Champions League and a big contract.
"But my colleagues convinced me they wanted me to stay with them."
