Shevchenko brings personal physio to Chelsea

Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko has flown in his own personal physio to cure a long-standing knee complaint.

The Daily Mail says Silvano Cotti, who worked with Shevchenko at AC Milan last season, has arrived in England to help the £31million signing recover from a ligament injury which has plagued the Ukrainian throughout Chelsea's pre-season programme.
Cotti has an outstanding reputation on the Continent following his work on former Inter Milan striker Christian Vieri's knee and he nursed Shevchenko back to
fitness before the World Cup.
Although Shevchenko scored twice at the World Cup, there were concerns over his fitness before his move to Chelsea and Sunday's Community Shield 2-1 defeat by Liverpool was the first time he has played 90 minutes in a Chelsea shirt.
